UK MP plays the ‘my Twitter was hacked’ card after trolling Brexit negotiator

Sure, we believe you

UK MP Conor Burns is the Parliamentary Private Secretary to Boris Johnson and earlier today sent a series of repetitive tweets nagging EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier to show calculations for the UK’s Brexit bill.

The tweets are Trump-esk and unprofessional given the ongoing negotiations but what makes them embarrassing is that the EU has already published the exact numbers he asked for.

Rather than put his tail between his legs, he’s now trying to say his Twitter account was hacked.

Those crazy hackers, always finding their ways into MPs email and twitter accounts so they can tweet EU officials about differences on debt from treaties.
