Details of the latest products and services from the world’s leading technology companies will be streamed live on a big screen to the Suffolk tech community this spring as they are announced.

The three live streaming events are planned for May and June when viewers will be able to hear first-hand news from the developer conferences being held in the USA by Microsoft, Google and Apple.

The free events, which will be held at the University of Suffolk and Adastral Park, have been organised by Ipswich-based software company Coderus Limited in association with BT; Innovation Martlesham, University of Suffolk, Eastern Enterprise Hub, IWIC and Tech East.

They follow the success of similar events over the last two years and will also offer attendees the opportunity to network and discuss the latest technology updates.

CEO of Coderus, Mark Thomas, said the events are intended to support development of the digital sector in the Suffolk.

The Microsoft Build 2017 live stream will take place at the University of Suffolk, Waterfront Building in Ipswich on May 10 from 4pm to 7.30pm, while the Google I/O Extended 2017 event is planned for May 17 from 4.30pm to 9pm.

A live stream of the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2017 will be shown at Adastral Park on June 5 from 4.30pm to 8pm.

Kevin Woollard, director research engagement and operations at BT, said: “This event builds on Adastral Park’s reputation as a global communications hub and gives local ICT businesses and individuals a fantastic opportunity to share in the buzz created by the developer conferences in the USA.”
